We want everyone to be confident with their teeth

You only pay the laboratory cost
Our main focus is to provide the best possible care we can at the most affordable price. Regardless of what other practices charge, we set our fees based on what it costs for us to provide the service to the standards we believe our patients deserve, without any unnecessary or ineffective additions. This might mean some of our fees are noticeably cheaper than others and some might be more. Either way we know we give the best we can to the patients who put their trust in us.
No - we don't do sales or gimicky discounts. We really do mean it when we say our fees are carefully calculated based on what it costs us to deliver each service. Nothing gets marked up unnecessarily. There aren't any lavish margins. Every single fee really is the best price we can offer. There are consistently reduced fees for patients who are part of our practice membership, and even some services for them at cost price - this is all carefully calculated to ensure we can provide this service to patients
No you don't. Although there are some incredible benefits, if you would prefer to just attend and pay as required, we're more than happy to arrange this. We are really proud of our membership plan and we're confident it offers everyone the best value. However we are still happy to provide our services to those who don't wish to be part of it
Of course we appreciate that some people would rather not have a monthly payment and pay all in one go. For these patients they can pay up front for the whole year and will even receive a slight discount.
For patients with gum disease, the additional maintenance cleaning appointments can often form the biggest part of their plan. This can often be a regular treatment which is required for many years. As some of our patients do not require this, we want to ensure that we only offer this to patients who really need it, keeping our costs as affordable as possible the rest of the time. We also do not want our patients to need regular gum disease maintenance. We strongly believe if we are doing our bit to help stabilise gum disease, there should become a point where these appointments are not required. We choose to have it as an additional amount, keeping costs as fair and affordable as possible.
To make our peace of mind plan as affordable as possible, we've chosen to include the most common treatments required. We believe these cover situations which are most likely to cause problems for patients, genuinely giving them the reassurance that should most things happen to their teeth, they should be able to access the necessary treatments. As a result we are not able to offer the more complex or costly treatments such as crowns, bridges, dentures, implants and cosmetic treatment. If we were to offer these, it would make the prices substantially more expensive. These treatments are not the type of treatments which are likely to be required regularly. Plans that cover these treatments typically cost £70–£80 per month, and you may then not need any of that treatment for years. For most people, putting that difference aside and paying if-and-when is genuinely better value
For genuinely stable patients — honestly, yes, and we'd rather tell you that. But "stable" means more than not having needed treatment for a while. At every examination we assess five areas: the health of each individual tooth, your gum health, tooth wear, your jaw joint and muscle health, and your oral cancer risk. To be right for one visit a year, you need to be reassuringly stable across all five. Plenty of people feel stable simply because nothing has hurt recently — yet they may have a number of fillings or crowns that need careful monitoring, or gums that need a little ongoing support, and for them the second visit each year is exactly where small problems get caught while they're still small. If you genuinely are stable across the board, we offer a separate plan designed for exactly this. We don't publish it on the website to keep things simple — just ask us and we'll talk you through it.
To be included the child must belong to the same household as an adult who is on our membership plan. For each adult member there is one child under 12 included with their membership. We still welcome any additional children onto the plan for an extra £3 per month. The included child membership covers examinations, prevention and any required cleaning. Any additional treatment required will be charged in addition to this.
For children aged 12 to 18 we still offer a membership plan for them. The price is £5.87 per month and they will get the same benefits as being on the adult membership plan. There are some features which may be slightly different. For example it is rare that they need routine cleaning at this age and we may not take the 3D digital scans until their teeth have grown through into a consistent position. The sports mouth guards are included when they have their full set of adult teeth and are not undergoing any orthodontic treatment. Whitening is not appropriate for under 18s so this is not included either.
Half of the time required to produce the equipment required for tooth whitening is taken up by the 3D scans required to custom make the whitening kit. As we take these 3D scans routinely at all of our examinations, we don't need as much time to set up our patients with tooth whitening. This allows us to offer our members the tooth whitening at a heavily reduced rate without compromising on the quality or our service. We also want our patients to be confident in the appearance of their teeth and tooth whitening is a safe effective way to make a notable improvement for most patients. Keeping things as simple as possible, why wouldn't we want all of our members to benefit from this?
We request that our members only pay the laboratory costs required to produce the sports guards. We do not charge at all for our services providing these.Unfortunately we have seen too many accidents which have negatively affected the health of a patient's mouth for the rest of their life as a result of sports injuries. A common reason people don't wear sports guards when they should is that they find them uncomfortable or they affect speech or breathing. Custom-made professional sports guards give the best protection and the best comfort. They reduce any impairment on speech or breathing as much as possible and we really want our members to benefit from this. As with whitening we take the 3D scans required to fabricate the sports guards routinely at every examination. They do not require an extensive time to fit or review so we can offer this to our patients without it being a big financial expense to ourselves.
Unfortunately Dentistry is more expensive than we wish it was. A lot of the excessive cost is partly due to excessive regulation and compliance standards that UK dentistry is expected to comply to. Wherever possible we have utilised careful logistical planning and technology to help make providing our services as efficient and cost effective as possible. If our services are still unaffordable to some patients we never want this to be a barrier to receiving our care. We are happy to arrange alternative options such as attending regularly but less frequently, spreading out treatment stages to further spread the cost. We also proudly provide a huge range of resources to help patients look after their teeth without the need for a dentist as much as possible.
As an independent practice, every decision is made by the dentists who'll actually be looking after you. There's no head office to answer to and no corporate targets to hit — so we can set fair fees, take the time each patient needs, and invest back into the practice. In our experience that independence shows up in both the price and the care
