Are your prices competitive?

Our focus is providing the best care we can at the most affordable price. We set our fees based on what it costs us to provide each service to the standard our patients deserve, without unnecessary additions. Some of our fees may be noticeably cheaper than other practices and some may be more — either way, we give the best we can to the patients who put their trust in us.

Do you do any discounts?

Our fees are carefully calculated on what it costs us to deliver each service — nothing is marked up unnecessarily, so every fee really is the best price we can offer. Members benefit from consistently reduced fees, with some services at cost price.

Question 3

Do you have to be on the practice membership?

Accepted Answer

No. We're really proud of our membership and confident it offers the best value, but if you'd prefer simply to attend and pay as required, we're more than happy to arrange that.

Question 4

I don't want to pay monthly. Are there other options?

Accepted Answer

Of course. Patients who prefer not to have a monthly payment can pay up front for the whole year, and will even receive a small saving for doing so.

Question 5

Why is treatment of gum disease an additional amount on top of the membership price?

Accepted Answer

For patients with gum disease, additional maintenance appointments can form the biggest part of their care, often for many years. Many patients don't need this, so keeping it as an optional addition means we only charge the patients who really need it — keeping membership as fair and affordable as possible for everyone else.

What isn't included in the Peace of Mind plan?

To keep the plan affordable we include the most common treatments — the ones most likely to be needed. More complex treatments such as crowns, bridges, dentures, implants and cosmetic work aren't included, because covering them would make the plan substantially more expensive for treatment most people rarely need.

I only need one check-up a year. Is membership excessive for me?

For genuinely stable patients who only need one appointment a year — honestly, yes. We offer a separate plan for exactly this situation. We don't publish it on the website to keep things simple, so speak to us directly and we'll talk you through it.

Question 8

Are all children under 12 included?

Accepted Answer

One child under 12 is included per adult member, provided they belong to the same household. Additional children under 12 are welcome on the plan at £3 per month each.

Question 9

What about children over the age of twelve?

Accepted Answer

Children aged 12 to 18 have their own membership at £5.87 per month with the same core benefits as the adult plan. Some features differ slightly — routine cleaning is rarely needed at this age, sports guards are included once they have their full set of adult teeth, and whitening isn't appropriate for under-18s.

Why is the whitening fee so low for members?

Half the time needed to set up tooth whitening is taken up by the 3D scans used to custom-make the whitening kit. We already take those scans routinely at every member examination, so we can offer whitening at a heavily reduced rate without compromising on quality or service.

Question 11

Why are sports guards free for members?

Accepted Answer

Members pay only the laboratory cost — we don't charge for our time at all. We've seen too many sporting accidents permanently affect a patient's mouth, and custom-made guards give the best protection and comfort, so we want as few barriers as possible to our members wearing them.

Question 12

Are there any options for patients who still cannot afford your services?

Accepted Answer

We never want cost to be a barrier to receiving our care. We're happy to arrange alternatives such as attending regularly but less frequently, or spreading treatment stages to spread the cost, and we provide a wide range of resources to help patients look after their teeth at home.

Question 13

What's the benefit of being an independent practice?

Accepted Answer

As an independent practice, every decision is made by the dentists who actually look after you. There's no head office to answer to and no corporate targets to hit — so we can set fair fees, take the time each patient needs, and invest back into the practice.
